Conclusion for Themes of Advertising

Advertising is meant to entice a person to buy a certain product. This can range from health, fear, fun and what is best for the consumer. Will a product help you live a better life, will a certain product help you be healthier, will their product address your fears, and will a product help the consumer keep up with your neighbors, like luxury items.

Sometimes advertising goes too far and it is a fine line between going too far, and actually advertising a product in the right way. Advertising in good taste goes a long way to enticing the consumer to buy their product.

Think back to your favorite ads over the years. For example the Budweiser Clydesdale horses, do they make you want to buy their brand of beer. Does themes like “Where’s the Beef” make you want to go to Wendy’s and buy their hamburgers.

Funny advertising is usually the best, as compared to drug companies that rely on health fears. Themes of advertising are so important to catch a consumer’s eye or ear. Whether on television or the radio, we are seeing and hearing these ads all day long. The whole goal of advertising it so catch a consumer’s interest, whatever that interest might be.
